High Achiever Burnout: When Being the Capable One Stops Working
You're the person everyone counts on. You hit the deadlines, you remember the birthdays, you answer the text nobody else answered. And somewhere along the way, you started feeling like you're running on fumes while still doing all of it perfectly.
That's high achiever burnout, and it's one of the most common things I see in my therapy practice. It rarely looks like collapse. It looks like competence with nothing left underneath it.
